I'm hoping to release an ebook soon (probably through amazon) not fiction but a university project, mind if I pick your brain about your experience sometime soon?

Sure! These six were self-published and that was pretty easy.

I'm hoping to publish some other stuff, through publishers if I can, but self publishing seemed like a good place to start.

Hey! So, I just have a couple questions to ask about the ebook thing, if you don't mind? :)

1) Why did you decide to self publish an ebook?

2) How easy was Amazon to use with the whole process of uploading your ebook?

3) Why did you choose Amazon over other sites?

4) Do you feel like your ebook is easy to find/easily accessible?

I don't mind!

I think I went with self publising first after I fell over the idea when researching publishing, it seemed like a low pressure way to start as it cut out rejection from publishers.

Amazon was so easy to use when setting up my ebook and I say that as someone who isn't at all good with anything technical. They have a step by step instructions and they even have a tutorial on the prefured way they think you should set out your book, where to put what information, deadications, little things like that.

I picked Amazon because I use it a lot for other things and I've always found them easy to use and reliable. They also don't as such charge for selfpublishing, there is no publishing fee, they just take a percentage of the profits.

I think my ebook is prettyy easy to find, people can be vary of self published stuff, because it's often not really editted (I've seen some that weren't even spell checked at all) so I'm trying to get my name out, hoping people will take the risk on something self published.
